Love You Mom

Yesterday my family went to Vancouver for Mothers Day. It was such a gorgeous day! After two busy, full days downtown for weddings and engagement sessions, it was nice to enjoy the city and hang out a bit. I think the Coal Harbour/Stanley Park area is definitely one of my favorite spots! Love it. Anyways, most of these are of my momma, but there are a few of the rest of my family as well. Love my family. xoxx

PS. Did I mention I have the most AMAZING mom in the world??? I am so thankful for her and the incredible woman and example she is. We are blessed.

Somebody Like You// Surrey Engagement Portraits

Ahh. Where to begin with these two… Hayley is gorgeous and such a sweetheart!!  Tyler is so caring and such a great sport. It is so cool seeing how young and in love they are. I love it! You can tell they are so incredibly happy together and I had such a great afternoon capturing their engagement. I can’t wait to head over to Vancouver Island for their Country Wedding!!

So… I had a really really hard time picking my favorites… so this is part ONE :) Check back for their story and more images in PART TWO!

Oh and PS. Not sure if I have mentioned it before but all the titles of my blog posts are song titles. I LOVE music. Especially country music. ;) Anyways… Happy Friday! Enjoy!

Enough For Always// Granville Island Portraits

Last Saturday I met with Matilda+Keanu in Granville Island for some portraits. Matilda and I both took the Wedding Photography course at Focal Point last fall. The baristas at the Starbucks down the street had our orders memorized pretty quick. ;) Anyways, Matilda+Keanu are seriously the funniest, cutest couple ever! I think I was laughing so much that everyone around us thought I was a crazy person. Oh PS. Matilda has the an Aussie accent. So awesome! I love it. Keanu, it was so nice meeting you! Matilda, you are wonderful and I am looking forward to working with you more this summer! Enjoy. :)

White Flag // Passion Conference

Such a gorgeous day. Like really. Days like yesterday get me super excited for summer. Yesterday I spent the afternoon downtown with my sister. So fun. I love that girl. Nothing like cruising in the sunshine with someone who (almost) loves country music as much as you do. Baha. Craziness. After meandering around for a bit and grabbing a bite to eat, we headed down to Rogers Arena to meet up with some friends for the Passion World Tour. So thankful we stopped at Starbucks on the way! Boy did it ever cool off waiting in line. Mmmm. Earl Grey Tea love. Anyways, this is the third time I have been to Passion, but every year I am overwhelmed at the number of 18-25 year olds that line up and cram into Rogers Arena for a night filled with worship and encountering the Lord. So amazing.

Something Like That // Langley Portraits

Hello world, this is Becky. She is fun. I went to high school with this lady… and elementary school! Wow! I feel old. This afternoon we met for coffee and a photo shoot. I thought we were going to have a super fun adventure with all the stormy weather we have been having lately so I was totally expecting the worst… buuttt ta da! No rain and the sun even made an appearance for a few of these! Whoot! In two weeks she will be heading off on an incredible adventure. I am so excited and proud of you my dear! I will definitely be planning a trip to Hawaii ASAP. Whoot! If anyone need a Wedding Photographer in Hawaii let me know! ;) Anyways, I love this girl. She is absolutely beautiful. There is always lots of laughs and some awesome country music (with two pretty great girls singing wonderfully if I may add ;)) when we are together. So fun. Enjoy!
